PCC & Churchwardens & Roles: -

Could this be you?  We do need help, so pray and consider joining us in these vital roles.  If you are a sidesperson, sacristan, welcomer, reader or if you are interested in the roles or PCC then now would be a great time to get involved – training given.

Tea Bars: -

These will start again probably from May.  They are an important outreach and a source of funds, so please be prepared to help out either bake a cake or help to serve.

David & Ali are taking Sunday 21st April off

The benefice will take the services that day, as we rest after our eldest daughter gets married in Leatherhead.

Exploration:-

We are thinking about holding an exploration course to look at what we believe and why, about prayer and reading our bibles.  If you would like to know more then please talk to David and let us see what we can arrange.

Broad Horizons: -

Hilltop book group has its first session for 2024 on Tuesday 23rd April at 7-8.30pm.  We will be discussing ideas from Falling Upwards by Richard Rohr (looking at how, as we grow older, we are being awakened to deep, simple, and mysterious things we simply could not see when we were younger).  More info from Margaret 07960 170006.  All welcome.  Meet on the hilltop outside St Martha's.  Warm clothes recommended.

Bank Holiday Monday 27th May Jazz at noon followed by an afternoon of music recitals, with tea and cake.

If your name currently appears on the Roll, please advise me of any changes to be made, for example regarding your address.  If you would like to be included on the Church Electoral Roll and attend St Thomas or St Martha, and/or are resident in the parish please let me know.

Being on the Roll enables you to vote at our Annual Parochial Church Meeting which is coming up in May.  It also shows support for our churches and David, our vicar.
