Ecumenical Prayer Breakfast 1^st Saturday of the month at the Vicarage, from 9am, prayer, coffee and croissant. Next is the 4^th October – Thursday evening at St Thomas at 7:30 pm for an hour every other week. ** 18^th September & 2^nd October

The Foodbank Larder box is now located in the porch of St Thomas' Church.  Many thanks for your donations.  Suggested items are: - Long life milk /tins tuna/ tins meat/ pasta/sachets microwaveable rice /pasta sauces/curry sauces/cereal/spreads/ tea/ coffee/ hot chocolate/ tins soup/ baked beans

Flower Rota @ St. Thomas Church

Can you take a turn to provide flowers over the summer months in 'ordinary time'? Most flowers will last two weeks so between now and end October there are 12 weeks so just 6 volunteers needed. Pop your name on the rota or speak to Carole (or Linda) for more information

Karl and Kasey Channell

Are coming to England 28th September – 3rd October and are looking for accommodation, ideally cheap or free. They would love to house swap or house sit. They are a family of 10 but can manage with 3 rooms. House swap does not have to be simultaneous; they have a modest home with 4 bedrooms in Lake Tahoe. Benefice Changes

In September St. Thomas will start to attend services in Albury on alternate weeks, September 14^th at St. Peter and St. Pauls @ 09:30.

September 28^th is the Benefice Harvest Festival in the Old Saxon Church, Albury @ 10:00.

Car Parking at Albury Church

There is car parking around the Church (i.e. go up the drive) and also opposite the entrance in the Bowling Club’s car park.

Railway Level Crossing Closures

14^th September both level crossings in Chilworth will be closed, so travelling from one end of the village to the other will be difficult

Annual Dog Service at St Martha’s 2pm on 5^th October.

Christian Resources Exhibition

Sandown Park 15-16 October, oodles of exhibitors showcasing their wares. Worth a visit if you have never been before, plenty of parking, and everything for church, services, youth, etc. etc

Used Stamps for Oxfam

 Please place used stamps in the box at the back of St Thomas' which will stay there all year and be emptied as and when it gets full
