***1 Corinthians 1:10 (NLT)***

I appeal to you, dear brothers and sisters, by the authority of our Lord Jesus Christ, to live in harmony with each other. Let there be no divisions in the church. Rather, be of one mind, united in thought and purpose.

If anyone is interested, please contact kkchannell@hotmail.com

Benefice Changes

In September St Thomas will start to attend services in Albury on alternate weeks, September 14th at St. Peter and St. Pauls.

September 28th is the Benefice Harvest Festival in the Old Saxon Church, Albury.

Milk Bottle Tops

Many thanks to all who continue to bring plastic milk bottle tops to leave in the church. These were going via Mothers' Union in Cranleigh to raise funds for Surrey Air Ambulance but in future will go via Cranleigh Parish Council to help Springboard - a charity in Horsham supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities. For more information see https://www.springboardsupport.org.

Come and Join the Wedding Celebration 10am August 31st St James’ Shere

As many of you know our Rector Tim is getting married this month. As a Benefice we would like to celebrate their marriage with them by praying for them and blessing them as a church family (there will also be fizz and cake afterwards). Appropriate therefore that the set Gospel reading for that Sunday is The Parable of the Wedding Feast (Luke 14:7-14) in which Jesus instructs the host not to just invite friends & family but the whole neighbourhood - so everyone and anyone is definitely welcome on the 31st!

Helen Corbett and Margaret Roberts

Will lead the service at St. Martha’s on 31st August, it is a more modern service with lots of great hymns, so why not attend and join in with the singing.

Used Stamps for Oxfam
