Ecumenical Prayer Breakfast 1^st Saturday of the month at the Vicarage, from 9am, prayer, coffee and croissant. Next is the 5^th of September – Thursday evening at St Thomas at 6:00 pm for an hour every other week. 20^th August.

Mondays from 9:15 -10:30am  meet in St Thomas', play chat, pray and support. 

 Food and Hygiene Bank

The Foodbank Larder box is located in the porch of St Thomas Church.

Please help!  We are currently very low on funds and struggling to keep up with demand.
Donations of LL milk, tinned meat, fish, veg & beans, pasta, pasta sauces, sachets rice, toiletries and cleaning products always needed. We also supply 6 families, 4 single households with monthly deliveries of fresh food at a cost £400-£500 a month.

Evensong 2nd August St Martha’s

A wonderful Evensong service where we welcomed back Godalming Minster Choir. Wonderful choral musical pieces, interspersed with scripture and prayer. Thanks, Margaret, for managing to arrange this. We hope this will become an annual event.

ALPHA Course starting 10th September

We are starting an ALPHA course in September at St Thomas Church, there will be food a short video and an opportunity to think and chat about the topic for that night in an open and friendly atmosphere, it is free and everyone is welcome.

Launches 10^th September, we meet and eat at 7pm, then watch a video and have open discussions after.

There is no charge, but it is helpful to know how many are coming for catering purposes. More details to follow.

Meeting of Parishioners 27th August

Thursday 27th August at 7pm at St Thomas Church for the election of Richard Melhuish as Churchwarden.

This will be followed by his swearing in.

Apologies for any confusion caused by having to cancel the intended meeting on the 4^th August.

"Being With" Community Outreach

The Albury team is 'being with' our community again on August the 31st when they will set up a stand at The Peaslake Fair - if you are there, please come over and say hello, see what they are doing, and think about joining  next time.

Used Stamps for Oxfam

 Please place used stamps in the box at the back of St Thomas' which will stay there all year and be emptied as and when it gets full.
